The British boxer will face the American YouTuber in an eight round match which will be broadcast in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua said he will "stamp all over" the American and "break" the American as the combatants met personally to promote next month's bout.
Former two time world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami's Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Fighter's Mentality
"I will break his face and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," Joshua, 35 years old, said.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.
"I will really want to injure him. That's what I want to do."
Civil Interaction
Despite those words, a composed Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - normally known for his showmanship - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul instead attacked ex Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and called him "a joke" after the Cameroonian rejected a bout proposal.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, targeted British rival Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul outshines Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua stated.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Opponent
Despite declaring he will damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua declined to talk badly about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he remarked.
Paul's Background
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mostly boxed MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.
He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in last year.
Financial Success
Still, the novice is still one of the sport's biggest money-making draws, consistently making substantial financial rewards.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28-year-old anticipated a stoppage in round four or five and claimed he would prevent the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly under discussion for two years from now.
"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul declared.
Size Difference
As Joshua and Paul participated in the customary confrontation, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it highlighted just how surprising this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the match is actually going ahead.
